FlashFoward Friday #7 || Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay

Flash Foward Friday is a little feature on my blog where I basically fangirl about
unreleased bookish things I can’t wait to get my hands on! This week’s FFF is:

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay by J. K. Rowling
Release Date: November 19 2016
Publisher: Little, Brown Book Group

A little but about the book:

J.K. Rowling’s screenwriting debut is captured in this exciting hardcover edition of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them screenplay.

When Magizoologist Newt Scamander arrives in New York, he intends his stay to be just a brief stopover. However, when his magical case is misplaced and some of Newt’s fantastic beasts escape, it spells trouble for everyone…

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them marks the screenwriting debut of J.K. Rowling, author of the beloved and internationally bestselling Harry Potter books. Featuring a cast of remarkable characters, this is epic, adventure-packed storytelling at its very best.

Whether an existing fan or new to the wizarding world, this is a perfect addition to any reader’s bookshelf.

What a gorgeous cover, right?

Honestly I think after the fiasco that was Cursed Child everyone is a bit leery of J. K. Rowling and scriptbooks. Personally I loved Cursed Child and though I wished it was a proper novel I was still satisfied at the end of it all.

I know a lot of people are mad at J. K. Rowling for not leaving this world alone after the end of Harry Potter but personally I’m super excited by its expansion and I can’t wait to see how much more the magical world has to offer! I’ll definitely be picking this up as soon as it releases, I can’t wait for the movie too!

What to you guys think?

Are you excited for the movie and the screenplay?
Are you going to buy the screenplay when it releases?
Do you think J. K. Rowling should stop adding to the world and just let it be?
