Oh my gosh the feels in this book!

I know I have already said this countless times but I will repeat; Sarah J. Maas is queen. All her books are an automatic five stars for me so I don’t know why I even bother! I honestly have no idea how she does it; with every book she book she raises the bar and I’m always excited to see how far she’ll go to top herself in the next book and the next!

Lemme start talking about the actual book; Crown of Midnight was an amazing sequel. Characterization is Sarah J. Maas’ forte. She creates some of the most amazing character’s I’ve ever come across in YA! Every single one of her character’s is fully fleshed out and by the end of the book you feel each like every single character is an actual person that you got to know a little better!

The plot slows down a bit in Crown of Midnight but Sarah J. Maas still manages to land a few punches in. All the little plot twists and action scenes had me wanting more and more making this book impossible to put down!

I don’t know what else to say about this book that hadn’t already been said before! Sarah J. Maas ripped out my heart (in the best kind of way) and I absolutely love her for it.

And can I just say ugh the captain of the guard just got sooo much more swoon worthy! 😍😍
