It’s time for another Top 5 Wednesday! This is a meme hosted by Sam @ Thoughtsontomes. You can check out the goodreads group to join in on the fun. This week’s topic is books you wish had sequels. I’m going to put a little twist on this topic (don’t kill me!) and write about sequels I wish I had right now. I’m doing this because every book I’ve read seems to already have an upcoming sequel or ended perfectly so… (Yeah I’m probably just lazy about through my bookshelf to find the specific books for this topic…). Anyway lets begin:
A Court of Thorns and Roses Book 3 by Sarah J. Maas
No title, cover or release day but this is already one of my most anticipated reads. I’m in love with this series and cannot wait to get my hands on this book 3. Plus can you guys believe Sarah J. Maas just added five more books to this series (that’s right that means we get eight, yes you read that right eight books in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series) . What do you guys think about this? I’m not sure how I feel because S. J. Maas is definitely an incredible writer but I don’t want this story to drag to long and ruin everything. I guess we’ll find out.
Crooked Kingdoms (Six of Crows Book 2) by Leigh Bardugo
A pretty obvious one but I only jumped onto the Six Of Crows bandwagon a few weeks ago so sadly I can only hype about it now – months after all the hype has died down. I’m always late to book parties, damn. Anyway Crooked Kingdoms, September, yay!
Frost Like Night (Snow Like Ashes Book 3) by Sara Raasch
I feel like Snow Like Ashes series is severely under-hyped. I wish people would give it a try because the levels of love I have for this are unreal.
Torn (A Wicked Saga Book 2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Everyone talks about the Lux Series or the Covenant series but no one ever talks about this series which is just as great as the other two in my opinion. Wicked (book 1) is everything you want in a YA PNR/Fantasy book, its funny, sexy and action packed! I’m really excited for the release of this sequel which is only a week away!
The End of Oz (Dorothy Must Die #4) by Danielle Paige
Even though the last two books in this series were a little bit disappointing I’m still clinging to the hopes that maybe just maybe the next one will be better and will match the awesomeness that was the first book. I’ll keep hoping until the end of the series probably.
So that’s it! I hope you guys aren’t too mad that I switched up this week’s topic.
Anyway, happy Wednesday everyone! And Happy Reading!
