[Top 5 #2] Bookish Theme Songs

Hi Everybody:

So I wanted to do this little challenge where I pick a book, then pick a theme song that fits the book (I don’t know if I explained that right but you’ll see!). I thought this challenge would be a great way to recommend my favorite books and music. So without further adieu:

1. The Fifth Wave by Rick Yancey

Theme song: For this one I pick Bartholomew by the Silent Comedy. Why you ask? Because the song just feels very Cassie to me.

2. Fan Girl by Rainbow Rowell

Theme song: I feel like the perfect song for this book is Rolling Stone by Passenger, it just perfectly sums up Cath and Levi’s relationship.

3. The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons

Theme song: Let her go by Passenger makes me feel very ‘Tatiana and Alexander’. This song always gives me the feels-it’s one of my favorites-just like the book so it makes sense I put them together.

4. Winter by Marissa Meyer

Theme song: For this one I would say Renegades by X Ambassadors fits perfectly to the story line, it works for all the characters and their relationships.

5. Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard

Theme song: Running by Beyonce,  (you’re probably like ‘wha?’) but this song feels perfect for this book because everyone keeps running to/away from something. (Book review on it coming soon).

That’s all for this post. Thanks for reading.
