My TBR Shame

We all have books on our TBR lists that are probably never going to be read so don’t judge me for what you see in this post (lol). For real though these are book that have been on my bookshelf for a really long time and I’ve been meaning to read them (I swear!) but either new books kept coming out or I just couldn’t pick them up.

So yeah here is my TBR shame list:

  • Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo:

This book! I really wanted to read this book when I got it, I really liked the Grisha series so I was excited to see what this one had to offer. I never got around to it because new books kept getting thrown at me and this one kept getting pushed to the bottom of the pile.

  • Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children:

I’ve been stuck half way through this book for months now. Don’t get me wrong its an awesome book, I just don’t know why I haven’t been able to pick it up and finish it. I know it’s going to be a movie soon so I think that will motivate me to finish the final half.

  • The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh:

I’ve heard such good things about this book and I’ve been meaning to read it, I just don’t know why I haven’t gotten around to it. I know its a retelling of 1001 Nights and I really loved that story so I should have read this book by now (what is wrong with me!?).

  • The Revenge of Seven (Lorien Legacies #5) by Pittacus Lore:

Every thing was going good for me in this series until I reached the 5th book, I don’t know why I haven’t read this book yet because after the plot twist in the previous book, I should be dying to know what happens next but I just keep pushing it down my tbr list.

  •  Outlander by Diana Gabaldon:

Outlander has been on my bookshelf for such a long time but the reason I don’t pick it up is because its so long, so every time I want to read it the length just puts me off.

So I bet you’re wondering what I’ve been doing with my life, if I haven’t read these books.

I’ll probably get around to reading them (someday). Thank you so much for reading.

  1. Outlander is very long so don’t blame you for putting it off. I only made it through by doing a buddy read. Some of my tbr books have been on my shelf for 10 years plus so your list doesn’t look too bad to me 🙂
